Crowded Tooth Treatment
Crowded teeth treatment includes orthodontic procedures performed to align the teeth correctly and to achieve a proper smile. Crowding of teeth may occur due to lack of space, loss of early deciduous teeth or genetic factors. Crooked teeth make oral hygiene difficult and negatively affect chewing function. Orthodontic treatment is performed using braces, clear aligners (Invisalign) or removable appliances. The duration of treatment varies depending on the degree of crowding and the age of the patient. Treatment of crowded teeth provides a healthy oral structure and an aesthetic smile.
Invisalign Treatment
Invisalign treatment is a modern orthodontic treatment method that allows teeth to be straightened using transparent aligners. This treatment has been developed as an alternative to braces and minimises aesthetic concerns during teeth straightening. Invisalign aligners are individually designed and renewed every two weeks. The aligners gradually move the teeth into the desired position. Invisalign treatment is preferred for being almost invisible and comfortable to use. The aligners can be easily removed while eating and brushing teeth. This treatment is suitable for crowded teeth, gaps and mild tooth alignment problems.
Bracket
Braces are small metal or ceramic appliances that are attached to the teeth and are used for orthodontic treatment. The brackets are connected to each other with braces to ensure that the teeth are aligned correctly. Bracket treatment is used to correct crowded teeth, gaps, open bite and other teeth alignment problems. Metal braces are durable and are often preferred by younger patients, while ceramic braces are less visible due to aesthetic concerns and are popular with adult patients. Bracket treatment is an effective method for the correction of teeth and jaw structure.
Splint Treatment
Joint splint is an appliance used in the treatment of jaw joint (temporomandibular joint) disorders. This appliance provides relaxation and stabilisation of the jaw joint and chewing muscles. The joint splint is also known as a night plate and is usually worn overnight. This treatment relieves problems such as teeth clenching and grinding (bruxism), jaw pain, headaches and jaw locking. The joint splint ensures the correct alignment of the jaw joint and muscles and thus helps to reduce pain and discomfort.
